We believe that strong firefighters build strong communities. That's why we are actively involved in community outreach programs and support local initiatives through our charitable foundation.
The mission of the Fire Fighters Local 311 Charitable Trust is to support and uplift our community outside of responding to emergencies. Through financial support and the hands-on efforts of our members, Local 311 Charities we are able to partner with the communities we serve.
our history
Local 311 Charities was founded in 1998 in response to a tragic local event. Our union members were moved to do something more for our community outside of responding to 911 calls and began voluntarily donating financial support to assist members of our community. As years passed, the organization grew into a 501c3 organization and is now supported by our L311 members, donations from organized events and other community support initiatives.
